Planning Wedding Ceremony Music?

I play for wedding ceremonies in the greater Boston area, Cape Cod, Rhode Island, and the Nashua, New Hampshire area.

Are you planning a wedding ceremony, and you haven’t decided yet on the music?

Often the music played at a ceremony is one of the last wedding details couples finalize.

It’s best to let the ceremony musicians know well-ahead of time your choice of music. At least one month prior to your wedding date.

How many songs do you need?

Weddings with a wedding procession generally have a three songs: the processional music, bridal song , and a concluding with a wedding recessional.

The wedding processional and bridal songs are slower tempo, and the wedding recessional song is faster and upbeat.

Couples walk towards the ceremony area alone when there is no processional.

There is optional music during the ceremony after a reading, and other parts of the ceremony such as giving of flowers to parents.

Wedding ceremony music can be popular songs, romantic songs, or classical music.

Youtube and wedding sites are excellent places for exploring ceremony music options,

Most importantly, choose music which you like and will be meaningful to you.
